Well...I AM Still Living In A *PAID FOR* Hotel Room aka The Rodeway Inn Located In Clearwater, Florida Thanks To FEMA! I Have Leased An Apartment In Clearwater & I Am Presently Assembling My NEW Furniture With The Help Of A Young Friend From My Previous Residence, The Dunedin RV Resort, Where "The MacDaddy" And My Tow Car Were Totaled By Hurricanes Helene And Milton, Respectively...The Place Was Devasted By The Storm Surge!
I Am Hoping To Move To My Apartment By The End Of Next Week And Also Have "The MacDaddy" Towed Away At That Time To The Salvage Yard By Progressive Insurance! The Progressive Claims Agent Has Been One Of The Bright Spots In This Travesty
This Has Been Quite The Ordeal And I Will Not Go Into The Specifics Because They Have Been Numerous And Quite The Test Of My Fortitude & Patience...Some Are UNBELIEVABLE/HORRIFIC With Such Folks As Walmart, Amazon, FedEx Ground, Independent Living Facilities, Doctors' Staff, To Name Just A Few! In The Intermin, I Have Squeezed In Doctor Appointments, Trips To VA Clinics, Blood Draws, Some Time With Friends, And Of Course, Time With "The Posse", etc...ALL With Their Nuances, Complications, And Even Some With Just Downright Incompetence...And Of Course, Some Fun Interspersed With Friends & *The Posse*!
With ALL That Said, I Should Be Comfortable For Christmas If The Unknown Culprit Will Pull The Pins Out Of The Voodoo Doll They Allocated To Me...LOL!!
In Closing, We ALL Watch The Disasters On TV And We Feel Sorry For Those In Harms Way And Then We Just Shrug It Off And Move On. Well, Now I am One Of Those Persons, But Soon To Assume A Normal Life And Lifestyle Once Again!
Oh Yea....One Of My NEW Furniture Items Is A Modern Black Faux Leather Electric Power Lift Recliner Chair Massage and Heat for Elderly with Remote Control!! Man, I Am Looking Forward To That, Especially When It Jettisons Me Out Of It...LOL!!! Also, I will Now Have A 65" 4K Samsung TV To Go With It. I May NEVER Go Out!!
