The AHA and its American Organization for Nursing Leadership affiliate have developed numerous resources to assist hospitals and health systems in celebrating National Nurses Week, May 6-12, and National Hospital Week, May 7-13. We encourage you to use them in your efforts to honor the dedicated members of your team.
The theme for National Nurses Week is Nurses are superheroes. And the theme for National Hospital Week is Inspiring Hope through Healing.
These important weeks give us an extra opportunity to highlight America’s hospitals, health systems and health care workers and the innovative ways you are supporting the needs of your patients and community. This is especially important during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
